MUDFUNK UK TOUR A SUCCESS
October 31, 2005

After nearly three weeks of intensive performing and travel throughout the UK, Sean and Marco are now back in the Capital District and happy to report that the tour went very well. MUDFUNK had an opportunity to play at a number of popular venues (for example: The Windmill in London, Fibbers in York, The Palladium Club in Bideford, The Bell in Bath, etc) and regularly received an enthusiastic reception from the folks overseas. Dozens of copies of an early production version of the duo's debut album 'Live at the Grind' were also sold on the trip. In addition to club performances, MUDFUNK participated in school workshops in which Sean and Marco offered tutorials on playing their instruments as well as coordinated auditorium performances with the students. The workshops were deemed a success by school officials and some of the older students subsequently came out to see MUDFUNK club performances.

Generally speaking, although the trip routine was rather intensive, the day-to-day rigors offered MUDFUNK the chance to meet some wonderful people, work with two other great bands ('Oh My God' and 'Breaking Laces'), make a number of valuable contacts in the UK, see lots of beautiful countryside and quaint towns, and of course, perform for what has become a whole new group of enthusiastic fans.
