Music For Miracles Songwriting Contest June 26, 2004 |

"... Make sure to mark your calendar and invite all of your friends and family to Albany's Riverfront Park for the Music for Miracles CD Release Party on Sunday afternoon, June 27. The party is free to the public. In February, local band The Refrigerators, in conjunction with GE, radio station FLY 92.3 (WFLY) and the Albany Medical Center Foundation, Inc., announced a song-writing contest in which the three winners would have their original works recorded by the Refrigerators and each receive a $500 cash prize. Now it.s time for the culmination of the event with one of the largest CD release parties the Capital District has ever seen - all to benefit the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center!" |
